Місія Громадського центру «Еталон»: сприяти розвитку громадських ініціатив, спрямованих на зміцнення громадянського суспільства в Україні через творчу розробку і реалізацію програм та втілення міжсекторальної співпраці громадських організацій, органів влади і самоврядування, бізнесу, освіти, ЗМІ та ініціативних груп.

Основною метою діяльності є:

• сприяння формуванню і розвитку високоінтелектальної свідомої особистості з громадянською позицією, готової до конкурентного вибору свого місця в житті;
• сприяння розвитку освіти серед молоді;
• сприяння соціально-економічним, фізкультурно-оздоровчим, правовим, психологічним, творчим, національно-культурним адаптаціям молоді на сучасному етапі.

Перший логотип організації

Свій початок Громадська організація «Громадський центр «Еталон» бере від Молодіжного громадського центру «ЕТАЛОН». Організація була зареєстрована Івано-Франківським міськвиконкомом рішенням № 68 від 19.02.2002р. Теперішня назва — офіційно з серпня 2016 року.

На рахунку Громадського центру «Еталон» більше чотирьох десятків реалізованих проектів, з яких три чверті міжнародні. Детальніше про них можна довідатися у розділі «Проекти». Донорами організації у різний час були і залишаються МФ «Відродження», Європейський Союз, Міністерство закордонних справ Республіки Польща, Посольства Франції, Королівства Нідерланди та США в Україні та ін.

Серед заходів, які ініціював ГЦ «Еталон» протягом часу існування організації були проекти, що торкалися найрізноманітніших сфер суспільного життя: місцеве самоврядування, розвиток приватних бізнес-ініціатив та молодіжного підприємництва, протидія корупції та захист навколишнього середовища, правова освіта молоді, організація міжнародних конференцій та обмін досвідом. Серед донорів та партнерів центру – знані міжнародні організації, органи центральної та місцевої влади, недержавні громадські організації.

Практично з перших днів існування організація бере участь у розробці та виконанні заходів «Регіональної програми підтримки малого підприємництва в Івано-Франківській області, «Програми підтримки малого підприємництва в м. Івано-Франківську» та обласної програми з утвердження ґендерної рівності в суспільстві.

Між ГЦ «Еталон» та Виконавчим комітетом Івано-Франківської міської ради підписано Меморандум про партнерство і співробітництво.

Між ГЦ «Еталон» та Управлінням у справах сім’ї та спорту Івано-Франківської ОДА укладено Меморандум про співпрацю. Представники організації є членами Координаційної Ради з питань сім’ї та молоді при Івано-Франківській ОДА.
